Name of the band is Ignorance Is Bliss. We have just performed first gig with good feedback at The Asylum in Chelmsford. Punk/metal band, we write our own material, formed in october 2013, have a good catalog of songs already, looking to build on that. Original bass player had to leave due to problems at work. We have had some interest from a couple of independent labels so we obviously need someone ASAP.
Bass player that joins us will be able to have his/her say in how the bass sounds (won't be told what to do) and our music, feel free to play as you want. We all have a laugh and a good time, but we obviously take what we do seriously as we want to make this a career.
Influences include Black Sabbath, A Day To Remember, My Chemical Romance, Nirvana, The Misfits, Sex Pistols, Frank Zappa, Blue Oyster Cult, Led Zeppelin, Green Day, Placebo, Smashing Pumpkins and many more. Too many to mention

Age range of band is 25 upwards we are looking for someone 18-35 but that can always change. Lead Singer is Linzi, Lead guitarist is Paul and Drummer is Jason.
