| Description: | Hello! We are a funk rock band based in Reading comprising of a drummer, bassist/ pianist and rhythm/lead guitarist/ backing vocalist. We have been playing together for nearly 2 years and are looking for a new lead vocalist/ songwriter to join the band due to our current lead vocalist/ songwriter leaving. We want to get to a stage where we can gig regularly at local venues as soon as possible. We currently have a female singer but would prefer a young, male singer similar age to ourselves (23) who lives in the Reading area. Ideally someone who wants to practise up to 3 times a week and is really enthusiastic and passionate about singing/ songwriting in the genre of funk rock with good stage presence. The location of every practise would be at our house in Reading. Our main influence by a long way is The Red Hot Chili Peppers, mainly their earlier albums up to and including Blood Sugar Sex Magik. The majority of our songs come out of jamming and everyone has a fair say in how the songs are developed and structured. Please send me a message if you are interested! |
