ThunderFarts I'm currently forming a band age 18 to 21 50ph13 TANTRUM SkyeSBS InvisibleDears oman0401 since you cant message without paying if you want contact me email : omanmegaman@,com my old bad split up about 18 months ago and i really miss being in a band so...yeah thats why i'm here. i study music at collage but seeing how most class mates ether live too far away or don't share tastes with me making a band there wasnt really doable. i would love a wee acoustic band (with a set up like how noel galligher does his acoustic sessions) but i am fine with most any type of band as long as i enjoy the music we play and the people in it are nice and fun to work with (which i would very much assume to be the case.) i would also love someone to write with. in terms of practice its would need to be evenings, Fridays or weekends seeing how i have class to focus on. theres a small chance i can get somewhere to practice in dunbar but still a little unsure, PeteMcK13 Hi there, We are a metal outfit looking to recruit a drummer, with a view to expand the operation in the future. We're ready to nail down some tracks having written 5 bitch ass songs. So if you're a metal drummer and want to make a fuck tonne of noise get in touch. No pussies. Peace. P.S. I've got a car if you need a lift to and from practice. You can pay me back in coffee. Free-Men-Life Free-Men-Life is a young acoustic Pop band and remember a bit Jason Mraz or Jack Johnson. Their music is a big genre mixture of Pop, Folk, Reggae, Jazz and Latin. Already their appearance makes it clear, that you can expect something special. With their special instrumentation (acoustic guitar, percussion with cajon and congas, cello, two voices) but also their style (always barefoot, and a straw hat) underline the special sound the band has developed. The two kindergarten friends Friede (guitar/ukulele/voice) and Simon (Percussion) founded the band in 2012. In 2013 Phyllis joined the band with an excellent cello play and heartwarming voice and completed the band. The three of them played since then a lot of concerts, however not forgetting their big passion for street music, they still doing. After having produced the album Wonderful Life during a whole year on their own, a little tour followed (8 concerts in three weeks). During this tour, the band earned a lot of good criticisms from radio, promoters and the press, calling the music "very harmonic compositions […]” with “[…] sophisticated two-part singing” (Backnanger Tageszeitung). Additionally, the band won different prizes for their performance. StephenMcCafferty Return To The Sun are looking for a new drummer. We're Edinburgh based and consider our sound to be that of a rambunctious rumble of indie rock n roll. I've linked one of our music videos above. In our two years together we have released one 6 track E.P and 3 stand alone singles all of which became XFM Breakout tracks. We're looking to release our next E.P in the coming months and will be working with a PR company. We have toured the UK several times playing venues such as the Glasgow o2 academy, king tuts, London's Dublin castle and have played The Great Escape and Isle of Wight festival twice. We've had several features on BBC Introducing and we were recently featured in the new music section of The Scottish Sun. We're looking for someone who is dedicated, passionate and willing to throw themselves in fully in order to make this work. We've made few good contacts and want to continue that, taking Return To The Sun to the top. If you're interested in joining then just send over an email with examples of your work and let us know a bit about you. We're ideally after someone between the age of 20 and 30 if you would like to hear more by us then just google return to the sun. We should be one of the first few things to come up.
