Hi there,
Female singer available. I have sung/played in bands since I was 16 in London and more recently in Vietnam and Myanmar whilst working abroad. Jazz, rock, pop, folk, country, harmonies, covers originals, festivals, bars... you name it.
My last band was a Jazz standards with a bit of funk/soul mixed in band in Myanmar and before that it was a kind of bluegrass, soul band in Hanoi. When in London, it was indie/rock/pop covers bands, original rock/pop projects and acoustic, folk electronic stuff.
The youtube links I have are from my own originals band, but will give you an idea of my vocal tone. I can do low alto belting and high breathy styles... if it's in my range, I'll sing it!
I am new to the Surrey area and feel a bit lost without a band and singing live!
I am versatile, but ideally looking for a band to use my smoother, velvety, soulful voice as opposed to my rockier voice. Up for trying new stuff if the balance of people is right though.
I am a music teacher, so have a solid understanding of music and a good mix of genres under my belt!
