Hi, my name’s Dan, I’m 18 years old and I’m a tenor singer originally from Bath who’s just began studying at the University of Reading. I’ve been properly singing solo stuff since I was 10, and I’ve also been part of choirs since I was 8, but now I want to take my passion one step further by joining a band as a lead singer in Reading. I’ve sung pieces ranging from opera to rock and pop, and now I want to take a focus on the latter and set myself free on stage more than I’ve ever been able to! I don’t do a whole lot of album listening but I have to say 2 of my favourites would be “Dark Side of The Moon” by Pink Floyd and “Whatever People Say I Am That’s What I’m not” by the Arctic Monkeys. Although I lack experience in terms of being in a band, I think I can compensate with my experience in performing as a soloist and choir member and bringing high energy, and I’d love to be able to get the ball rolling soon. |
