New Band Project – Lincs & Humber based.
Right then. I’m a guitarist with 28 years of gigging behind me and I’m putting together something I’m genuinely excited about - a tight, high-energy party band built for quality gigs. Venues, festivals, private functions, corporate events, weddings, the works.
I know what makes a great night work and what kills one. I want players who do too.
What I’m looking for:
2x Lead Vocalists – Doesn’t matter whether you’re male, female or anywhere in between, as long as you can deliver. Powerhouse vocals, big stage presence comfort & charisma in front of the mic and can hold a crowd. Range and versatility matter, the setlist spans Whitney, Rose Royce, Taylor Swift, James Brown, Huey Lewis, Bruno Mars etc right up to belters like The Sweet & Journey.
Keyboardist – Comfortable moving between
Soul / Motown brass sections, Disco synths and modern Pop textures without breaking a sweat.
Bass Guitarist – Solid, dependable groove with a BIG sound to drive these anthems along.
Drummer – Tight, energetic and adaptable. Someone who drives the room, not just the band.
The music: Think classic soul and Motown into disco and funk, through to the kind of anthems that empty the bar and fill the floor - Bruno Mars, The Killers, ABBA, Journey. Nothing filler. Every song earns its place.
The important bit: I want good people. Talented, yes, but also easy to be around, drama-free and the kind who enjoy the social side of being in a band as much as the gigging side. We’ll be spending time together. Life’s too short for difficult personalities.
