Hi, we’re Kemal (guitar) and Simon (bass/ vocals) , forming Tiny Forehead. We need a drummer and a singer (awesome if you can do both) Overall product so far-think distorted blues and sour indie pop. We’ve just started but are knocking out some good stuff and have at least 12 songs in the pipe. Simon is a real beginner and if you’re a fussy, easily frustrated perfectionist, best stick to Yes cover bands on cruise ships. We have use of a fully equipped (drums/ amps etc) studio.
Drummer wise we would prefer a grunge tub thumper (I.e. Murph from Dinosaur Jnr) over sensitive jazz funk fusion styles. We would prefer females, especially the singer, just because it brings balance and a higher pitch vocal would lift the sonic range, but people of any age, sex, looks are.... blah blah etc. We’re Club 30-50 age wise. We’re happy looking like either your fathers or your children if you are.
We intend to play live as soon as we’re tight, maybe every other weekend, and practice weekly. We don’t do covers. Would love to hear from you! |
