I have played guitar since I was 6, and I got my first bass at the age of 13. I have guitar lessons at school and I'm currently studying for my grade 7 exam.
I will play funk, metal, rock, prog metal, grunge - as long as it does cool interesting stuff with the guitar (i.e. not just basic chords like green day for example), I should be fine to play it.
Having grown up as a big fan of the red hot chili peppers, I think it's important that there's plenty of room for improv with the guitar, bass and drums.
I will also do simple backing vocals or bass - just don't expect me to turn into Ronny James Dio or Flea. |
