| Description: | Hi my name is James or Kimber if you prefer. I am the founder and only remaining member of the experimental rock band The Dandy Highwaymen (named after the lyric from Adam Ant Stand and Deliver). Since I am the only member at current due to the rest of the band dropping out due to lack of commitment the route of the band is very open. I personally want it to be hugely influenced by the works of Slash and Muse with inspiration from Adam Ant, Marilyn Manson, Black veil Brides, Jack White, The Rolling Stone, Queen, ELO, Pink, Social Distortion and a lot more. The concept in my head is a slightly more modernism technical Velvet Revolver sound with some orchestral, acoustic, synth, brass and other instruments. However the band will be a collective so any ideas are welcomed. I have been playing guitar for over four years now (I'd say I'd only got "good" in the past half year though). I have developed a fairly unique combination of funk based, folk inspired, hard rock fingerpicking with lots of technical skills like that you'd find in Matt Bellamy, Tom Morello and Jack White (helped by my three years of studying music tech). I have got some gear but not a great amount at the moment due to still being at Sixth Form and not having a job. I have a decent guitar for now while I build it's replacement and I have a fantastic amp I love the sound of but it is only 15W so I need to get a clean PA system to use with it and my pedalboard is currently limited to a Wah, Chorus and Multi FX unit. However once I do get a PA system I am good to gig. Ideal the band would have a vocalist or two (man or woman), a lead guitarist (me), a rhythm guitarists, a drummer, a bassist I would also like a violinist, a pianist and any orchestral or brass instruments.
