Hello.
I’m a bass player looking to establish a band to play “deepâ€, stripped down Funk, Soul and Disco. In other words, a blend of covers and originals with an emphasis on a heavy groove, presence and rhythm. I’m thinking something that draws on Funk / Dub / Garage / Disco / Trip Hop & Soul but is fairly easy on the cheese.
Age and technical virtuosity less important than being on the same page musically, a chilled and inclusive approach and enjoying the journey.
