A guitarist with some training in classical music venturing into jazz who is interested in playing with likeminded musicians in order to learn about jazz and develop his musicianship.
Fully interested in forming a jazz ensemble as the vehicle for learning and developing musicianship through initially playing Jazz Standards and Latin Jazz at lower intermediate level. It is a long-term project aiming at exploring jazz fusion or progressive jazz in the future as the ensemble evolves.
Please, reach out if you are learning/studying any of the following instruments: bass, drums, percussion (e.g. conga, bongos, claves etc.), saxophone, trumpet, flute, trombone, and keyboard (piano/organ), and are interested in joining this project. If your instrument is not listed but you think it may contribute to the project, please, do not hesitate to contact me as well. We all will be developing our musical skills while playing and learning from each other rather than just being on our own using ‘play along’ resources. |
