Hey all,
I’m 26, from Manchester and currently based around the Bolton/Manchester area.
I’ve been playing guitar for around a year and a half now and I’d put myself around intermediate level. I play a lot and I’m looking to start playing with other musicians properly — whether that turns into a band, regular jams, writing original stuff or just meeting people who are into the same kind of music.
My taste is pretty broad but mainly rock, blues, psychedelic rock, classic rock, punk, indie and some metal. I’m not really into ultra-heavy metal.
Some of my biggest influences are The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Peter Green/Fleetwood Mac, Jeff Beck, Eric Johnson and Khruangbin/Mark Speer, but I’m open to playing plenty of other stuff.
I’m mainly a guitarist and really enjoy lead playing, improvising, riffs and coming up with my own ideas, but I’m happy playing rhythm as well. I’m much more interested in finding people with good musical chemistry than everyone being technically perfect.
Ideally looking for singers, drummers, bassists, guitarists or basically any musicians who want to get together, jam and see where it goes.
I’m committed, but I want it to actually be enjoyable as well — good music, good people and no massive egos. |
