Band
Description: Yo! We are need of a permanent drummer ready to dedicate themselves to the life of being in a professional touring band. We need someone who is passionate and motivated to become a master of their craft. The band will start as a 4 piece. I (Joe) am the frontman, singer, guitarist, main songwriter. I have an awesome bassist (James) who I write with, and a professional producer/sound engineer (Dan) fully on board ready to go. Dan will also be in the band on keys/extra guitar (he's a fucking wizard). I have been working hard for 4 years on this project and have been through 8 drummers now. Unfortunately, they have all been either not good enough or just not dedicated enough to work to the level that we are working at. We are desperate to start recording some proper demos and get ready to start gigging but we now need a legit drummer to join the team. My first question to you is: do you have a set up to record professional (or semi-professional) sounding drum takes to help us with our demos? In regards to our sound, we are musicians! When we write music, we are not thinking about genres. If it sounds good, it sounds good. If it makes us laugh, even better! Saying that, I'd say my favourite band is the Red Hot Chili Peppers so something along those lines maybe but like I said we are not limiting ourselves. All 3 of us like all types of music. Seriously, anything. I'd say my favourite genre is Funk but again that doesn't mean we're writing just funk music. If I give you any clips of what we have so far, it will most probably be unrepresentative of our end goal so all you need to know is that if you're a music lover through and through, you will probably be a great fit. Happy to discuss sound in more detail over the phone if this is important to you though. If this sounds like a bit of you, hit me up through here and then we can talk in more detail over the phone. Peace <3
