Hi, I've been teaching myself guitar for about 4 years now and am relatively proficient. I've always loved R.E.M. and Peter Buck's style so have mainly focussed on learning R.E.M. songs. I can make a pretty good fist of about 30 of their best songs now and would love to play with some like minded musicians - firstly for fun (to see if I can cut it in a band) and then perhaps even the odd gig if it works out?! Being in your mid-40s playing on your own in a room is a bit lame :-) |
