Signed French London-based electro-rock duo with management and label,looking for a female professional guitarist / singer-backing vocalist/ arranger to join the live band.
The band is a duo (synths and lead vocal), with additional live bassist and female drummer/vocalist.
Influences for the guitars: Bowie - Let's Dance period,
Band influences: The Cure, David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, New Order
Able to play funk grooves, at laid back (80-90 bpm) to fairly high tempi (120-150 bpm). Must be a really good rhythm player with strong groove ideas, able to deliver
quality guitar recordings and especially funky, disco, groovy rhythm guitar arrangements that fits into electronic-rock tunes.
Also able to do strong backing vocals live. Must have a bit of a 'producer' soul and be able to come up with original arrangements, production ideas, feedback on current tracks. Guitar arrangements obviously but also a taste for live/studio arrangement in general.
Aged preferably under 32, and must live in London or be within reasonable distance from it.
Serious musician with a professional attitude and commitment wanted (potential gigs in Europe), nonetheless a strong 'human' dynamic is central to the band and the music.
