We are a newly formed modern progressive rock/metal band looking for a Vocalist and second guitarist
We are currently writing as a three-piece, myself (Elliott) doing all of the guitar work, our drummer Bradley and bassist Callum finishing off the lineup.
Our influences include bands such as Periphery, Protest the Hero, Deftones, Killswitch Engage, Tesseract, Glassjaw, Every Time I Die and many, many more. Stylistically, we're taking a progressive approach in that as long as something sounds good and will fit in with the other songs we write, we're happy to use it.
Although we like heavy music, we place a STRONG emphasis on melody and harmony when it comes to vocals. Screaming is okay, but more as a background effect, almost a textural thing, rather than as a lead vocal. This is very important to us.
We're looking for a like-minded vocalist, between the ages of 18 and 23, who is as passionate about music as we are and wants to get somewhere. We ideally want someone who has quite a wide vocal range as well as a keen ear for melodies and is adept at writing lyrics.
As for a guitarist, we're looking primarily for a creative rhythm guitarist as I tend to handle leads myself where necessary. If you can play the songs on our soundcloud link then you're on the right track!
