Smiling Assassins are a wedding/party/function band. We need a bass player who ideally can also provide backing vocals. Varied set including rock/indie, pop and some funky stuff from 60s to present. Acoustic numbers also included but mainly electric guitar drums and vocals. Reading not necessary. How you learn your parts is up to you. We turn up to rehearsals prepared and then adjust our arrangements to suit the band feel. We have fun making music. Not pro but serious about what we do. Not sexist, not ageist. If you fit in, you fit in. You need a good ear, some technique and good timing. Not looking to gig weekly, probably max one or two gigs a month. If this is you please get in touch. |
