| Description: | Recently departed from a Thrash Metal band as we weren't quite the right style for each other. Hoping to join a more Metalcore / Post Hardcore style band who are established, dedicated to weekly (or more) practices, with a view to playing lots of gigs in 2021 and are looking for a confident, versatile and consistent vocalist. My influences include Architects, Of Mice & Men (Austin Carlile era), BMTH (Sempiternal era), Linkin Park, Enter Shikari, Dayseeker, Northlane... I write all of my own lyrics, vocal melodies and song structures and am happy to collaborate with other band members in all of those areas. I love songwriting on-the-fly during practice as well as on my own - a skill i've honed during lockdwn... I take constructive criticism very well and am not afraid to offer my own ideas. Examples of my current vocal skills can be heard on some recent demos from my last band on my Soundcloud (link below), all of which I'm able to perform as a live set with very little vocal fatigue. They're very scream-heavy but the occasional shouts and cleans *can* be found. I'm happy to work with other band members to find the right balance but *some* screams are an essential part of my style. I can provide a reference from my old band members (via their official socials) to show that we parted on good terms and that it was only through creative differences.
